Chirp Quackery is a small family-owned hatchery in Watkinsville, GA, Our hatchery is run by husband and wife, Amanda and Andrew and their 3 children, Isaac, Aaden, and Gemma. We specialize in Pekin ducklings, hatching eggs, eating eggs, and more.
How We Got Started
Amanda’s grandfather has a PHD in Poultry Science and, before retirement, was a professor in Poultry Science Departments at universities across the country, including UGA. She grew up around birds and even hatched chicks in an incubator in her bedroom as a child.
Amanda and Andrew got their own chickens when they moved to their current house. The children, especially Isaac, quickly fell in love with the birds. After many years of having chickens Amanda and Isaac decided to branch out and get Pekin ducklings. The baby ducks were an instant hit with the family. The fun personalities, ability to be trained, and downright adorableness of the Pekin ducks had the family hooked.

In addition to ducklings, Chirp Quackery offers delicious eating eggs (unwashed or washed), high quality hatching eggs, blown eggs, partially composted manure for your garden, and an ever-expanding list of other related items.
